Research Operations Team

Global Research Trends is looking for a Sampling Analyst to join our research operations team. The role will focus on managing sampling requirements for market research projects, supporting participant recruitment, monitoring sample performance, and ensuring that projects meet their required targets.

The ideal candidate should have experience with VICIdial or a similar CATI/call-center platform and be comfortable working with sample data, respondents, quotas, and fieldwork requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sampling requirements for market research and survey projects.
  • Review project specifications, target audiences, quotas, and sample requirements.
  • Prepare and manage sample lists for telephone and online research projects.
  • Set up and manage calling campaigns using VICIdial or similar CATI systems.
  • Monitor calling activity, contact rates, response rates, and sample progress.
  • Track completed interviews against project quotas and targets.
  • Identify gaps in sample and recommend adjustments to improve project performance.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain sample and respondent databases.
  • Check for duplicate records, invalid numbers, incomplete records, and other data-quality issues.
  • Coordinate with project managers, interviewers, and fieldwork teams.
  • Prepare sampling and fieldwork reports.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight potential delays or recruitment issues.
  • Support multiple research projects and ensure sampling requirements are met within deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential respondent and project information.

Requirements - Must Have

  • 1+ year of experience in sampling, market research operations, survey research, fieldwork, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with VICIdial or a similar CATI/call-center platform.
  • Understanding of telephone interviewing and respondent recruitment.
  • Good understanding of sampling, quotas, respondent targeting, and survey fieldwork.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to manage and analyze sample data.
  • Ability to monitor sample performance and identify recruitment issues.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Technical Skills

The candidate should be comfortable working with:

  • VICIdial or similar CATI systems
  • Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Sample and respondent databases
  • Survey platforms
  • Calling and campaign management systems
  • Basic data cleaning and reporting

Experience with SPSS, Power BI, SQL, or other data-analysis tools will be an advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working at a market research company, BPO, CATI center, or survey research organization.
  • Experience working on international research projects.
  • Experience managing UK, US, European, or other international samples.
  • Understanding of B2B and B2C research sampling.
  • Experience with online sample providers or panel management.
  • Knowledge of survey programming or survey platforms.
  • Experience monitoring interviewer performance and calling productivity.
  • Basic understanding of market research methodologies.
